A detailed infectious disease prevention plan

COVID-19

While masking guidelines continue to ease for businesses in Los Angeles, in medical settings they are still a requirement. To ensure the safety of all patients, including the immunocompromised or those who are not vaccine eligible, we ask that you keep your mask on for the entirety of your session. If you don’t have a mask handy we will be happy to provide one for you.

As our part, we have created a detailed infectious disease prevention plan. This detailed plan includes the following:

  • Measures to ensure proper physical distancing

  • Increased disinfection protocols

  • Protocols for practitioner and administrative staff to limit exposure, including personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • The role of patients in ensuring their safety (such as wearing masks while in the clinic)

We will continue to adapt our policies over the coming months to meet the fluid nature of the pandemic and pandemic recovery. We deeply appreciate your patience as we work alongside the scientific community to provide a safe environment for your visit.

If you have had any of the following symptoms in the last 20 days:

  • Fever

  • Severe fatigue

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Chills

Or any of the following not due to a chronic condition:

  • Sore throat

  • Nasal congestion

  • Loss of sense of taste or smell

  • Muscle aches

  • Diarrhea

  • Cough

Or, if you or anyone in your household came into contact with anyone who tested positive for COVID19 within the past 20 days.

Please contact our office prior to arriving at your upcoming appointment. This applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated patients.

At this time, we have no indoor waiting area and request that all patients wait just outside the clinic to be buzzed in.
